'Education Begins at Home' campaign - The Welsh Assembly Government's campaign to provide information to parents on how to support their child's learning at home. Helping with homework, attending parents evenings and asking how they get on in school can all help with their school enjoyment. There is a Facebook page(www.facebook.com/beginsathome) and twitter account (https://twitter.com/edubeginsathome) for parents and carers with tips and links to websites which can help them support their children’s learning.

- The Family Lives website (http://www.familylives.org.uk/advice/teenagers/) has video clips, leaflets to download, and other advice and information online to support parents and carers of teenagers.
- Young Minds provides information and advice on the emotional well-being and health of children and young people. They also run a parents’/carers’ helpline which offers free confidential telephone support, including information and advice to any adult worried about the emotional problems, behaviour or mental health of a child or young person up to the age of 25.

- Anxiety Management course, Holyhead
Mondays 4pm-5pm, for 7 weeks, starting 30th September 2019
Our 7 week (1 hour a week) Anxiety Management course for young people (14-18) works within a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy framework, which follows a goal setting and problem solving approach. The course will provide participants with an understanding of what anxiety is and how it is maintained. You will learn a variety of practical skills to help reduce anxiety.
